About Me.

My name is Marcela Ferreira, I'm a Holistic Nutritional Therapist. I qualified in nutrition in Brazil with a specialization in Obesit. I am trained in Functional Nutrition, Behavioural Nutrition and Women’s Health. In Ireland, I am certified as a Holistic Nutritionist, Nutritional Therapist and Reiki Master. At the moment I’m studying for an International Certification in Nutrition Psychiatry.

My mission is to help woman have a positive relationship with their body, mind, heart, and food.

I am a nutritionist who looks beyond calories and meal plans. I help women reconnect with their bodies and become their own experts. Advising them on how to organise and plan their eating, honour your health, respect your body, healthy ageing, and longevity, eat guiltlessly, and much more. I work with a gentle and inclusive science-based nutrition.

My goal is to improve women’s health (physically, mentally, spiritually, and socially).

I offer 4 different types of services:

1. Nutritional Consultation

An individualized treatment plan, Individualized goal plan, complementary materials (recipes, intuitive exercises, food diary), Prescription of supplements (if necessary), Physical assessment of person (weight, height, bioimpedance and circumferences). Regular support and communication through emails and WhatsApp.

Consultations are online or face-to face. We can measure your progress over successive consultations.

First consultation: In our first appointment, we will talk about your habits, routine, life history, food consumption and complaints. From this, we will plan our initial goals and action plans to begin the first steps of behaviour and lifestyle changes. Changes happen from small goals and practice. At the end of our first consultation, we will check how many consultations you need to help you reach your goal.

Successive Nutritional Consultations: In our successive consultations, we check your progress, difficulties and thus trace new strategies to reach your goal and improve your health. Individualized meal planning designed together with you to connect your nutritional, routine, and emotional needs.

3. Couples Nutritional Sessions

A treatment plan for the couple, Goal plan for the couple, Complementary materials (recipes, intuitive exercises, food diary), Prescription of supplements (if necessary), Physical assessment in person (weight, height, bioimpedance and circumferences). Regular support and communication through emails and WhatsApp.

2. Mindful Shopping

Learning the food groups, Shopping list, Freezing techniques, Proper storage, Weekly menu, Recipes to help you in your daily life and  Regular support and communication through emails and WhatsApp.

Have you ever wanted a nutritionist to help you in this task? Guiding you through your shopping experience to organize and plan your healthy eating habits.

There are 2 appointments.

​

The first appointment is online or in person and I will help you with planning, organization, menu ideas and how to choose food in a more conscious way, respecting your life routine and preferences.
In the second meeting, we will go to the supermarket together and explore the possibilities and varieties.

4. Full Nutritional Counselling Program:

A program to help clients stay motivated and achieve their goals long-term.
Consultations are every 15 days or 21 days.

How does it work?
There are 3 phases:

​

First phase: Awakening time
From 2 to 4 consultations: It is the time for you organize your routine (food planning, sleep, management stress, body movement) and be more connected to your body, mind and food. You will learn about types of hunger, emotional eating, mindful eating, intuitive eating, self-love, and compassion, respecting your body, quality food plan.

​

Phase Two: Gentle Nutrition time
From 2 to 4 consultations: how to build a nutritious and delicious plate, learning the food groups, food classification, planning your meals, food portions, food quantity intake in 24-hours. Your health starts on the plate (how to help with health issues).

Phase Three: Connecting with your true expert.
From 2 to 4 consultations: retain everything that was learned, understand your difficulties, recognize relapses, atypical situations, evaluation of the clients results.

What it is included:
Everything from the nutritional consultations as well as:

· WhatsApp broadcast exclusive for patients.
· Weekly support through WhatsApp with guidance and tips.
· 1 online reiki session
· Be part of challenge programs
· Welcome gift with: E-book with tips for eating out, ready meals and take aways, week planner and a shopping list, loyalty card where every 3 consultation you win a prize and 30 minutes with a personal trainer.
